Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in meal preparation for various service periods, ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication during service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Uphold the restaurant's standards for quality, presentation, and taste in all dishes served.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality food preparation.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
