We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station before, during, and after shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
Support overall kitchen operations during busy periods, including assisting with meal assembly as needed
Requirements
Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required.
Ability to lift up to 50lb.
Effective communication skills.
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
Highly effective teamwork skills.
The ability to read and follow cheat sheets
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
