Do you love working in a kitchen environment where quality and consistency are key? Sorrentino's Century Park is looking for a part-time Line Cook to join our team! This is a key position within our organization that plays a critical role in providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards with a focus on Italian cuisine. Ensure the assigned station is fully stocked and ready before each service. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in accordance with local health regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Communicate effectively with staff, managers, and guests. Exhibit energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Adapt to various kitchen tasks and cross-train as needed. Execute daily opening and closing checklists with accuracy. Participate in deep cleaning and organization tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

A minimum of one to two years of experience in a professional kitchen with an understanding of traditional pizza making is preferred. Fluent in English. A strong understanding of kitchen operations, prep, and line execution. Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to work standing for long periods and lift items up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. A genuine passion for the restaurant industry and customer service.
