Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage spaces. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food products. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
