We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Follow all food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of dishes served.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is essential.
Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining individual accountability for tasks.
