Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. This schedule can be consistant week to week. It will have a few day shifts and a few night shifts. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, preparing meals that delight our guests while ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage practices. Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
