Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in daily prep work, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and preparing sauces. Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency and excellence. Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
