We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. The Line Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations and uphold our restaurant's quality standards.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Plate dishes attractively and ensure timely delivery to guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure continuous workflow
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation practices
Experience
Previous experience serving or working in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred
Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and procedures
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous
Familiarity with the food industry and restaurant operations is a plus
