Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing as needed
Ensure all food is prepared fresh, safely, and efficiently for service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients
Follow food safety protocols and handle food with care to prevent contamination
Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
Assist with catering events and special meal preparations when required
Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to uphold a positive work environment
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or culinary roles required
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
Experience with menu planning, food presentation, and fine dining standards is a plus
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
Culinary or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not mandatory
