Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring all food is fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety standards. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration in a busy kitchen environment.

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
