We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Ensure proper food handling and safety protocols are followed at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

Skills

Experience in food service or a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the kitchen environment. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
