Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, and will be responsible for creating high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a safe, sanitary manner, adhering to food safety regulations Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management Participate in daily prep work and assist with meal preparation as needed Follow proper serving techniques to deliver dishes that meet quality standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with food safety guidelines and best practices for food handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in food presentation Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
