Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Help with inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team. A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
