Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and be passionate about creating delicious dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We are trying to change the culinary scene in cornerbrook and we're looking to add onto our strong team to push for greatness! We offer competitive pay and a very good tip out for the back of house. Duties:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces

- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

- Follow recipes and presentation specifications

- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation

- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or kitchen setting

- Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent time management skills

- Willingness to learn and take direction

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Familiarity with food handling and preparation techniques

- Understanding of meal preparation methods

- Experience working in the food industry
