Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow proper portion control guidelines to minimize waste.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment.
Experience
Previous experience in a cook or food service role is preferred.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and food preparation methods is essential.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is required.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a kitchen environment.
