We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
Adhere to proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and serving
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
A passion for the food industry and commitment to quality service
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
