Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene Monitor food stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to management Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food industry

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Flexibility to work various shifts as needed within restaurant hours
