We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food preparation, cooking, and food safety skills while delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but a strong passion for food and a willingness to learn are equally valued.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Monitor food quality during service, adjusting as needed to meet presentation and taste standards Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring excellent food service experience Follow all food safety regulations and procedures diligently to uphold health standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong understanding of the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed A genuine passion for cooking and delivering high-quality meals to customers
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
