As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dishes
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
