We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the standards of our kitchen environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling and storage practices.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for supplies to the kitchen manager.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and meal preparation processes.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
