We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring a smooth workflow in the kitchen. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
Monitor food quality and freshness, making adjustments as necessary
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure safety
Participate in daily prep work, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
