Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our Cora culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to Cora recipes and specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain food safety standards. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety practices

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality meals.. Must be able to work flexible hours (weekdays and weekends). Valid Food safe certification is an asset.
