Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Participate in training sessions to enhance cooking skills and knowledge of menu items.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices for handling food. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
