Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that all food preparation and meal preparation tasks are executed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Assist in the daily food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation of dishes. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
