Hello! We are hiring at the Brok'in Yolk Creekside location located in the NW.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the preparation of high-quality meals that delight our guests. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to the restaurant's standards and recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and kitchen operations. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Basic cooking skills with an eagerness to learn more advanced techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Must be based in Calgary. Resumes dropped off in person preferred, but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
