Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling and preparation meets safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed customer expectations.
