We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the efficiency of the kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and presentation.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Skills
Proficient in cooking techniques and meal preparation methods.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Attention to detail with a focus on quality presentation of dishes.
