Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in menu planning and development as needed, contributing ideas for new dishes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, showcasing familiarity with food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes efficiently. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure during peak hours. A team player attitude with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
