We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Familiarity with various cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers.
