We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring that our dishes are prepared efficiently and to perfection, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food handling and meal preparation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
Ensure all food is prepared in a safe manner, following proper food handling procedures.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
Assist with menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
