We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will play an essential role in meal preparation, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our established standards of quality and safety.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing.
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
Help maintain kitchen equipment by performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices in the restaurant industry.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
