We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and meal preparation, with a focus on food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering delicious meals to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients for daily meal service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
Participate in the cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen equipment and utensils after use.
Support the head chef or kitchen manager in any additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing menus or requirements.
