We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning, ensuring a variety of options that meet dietary needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service and meal preparation.
Uphold high standards of presentation for all dishes served.
Skills
Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or restaurant settings.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Familiarity with dietary department practices and dietary aide responsibilities is advantageous.
Excellent knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods.
Understanding of food safety standards and best practices for handling food.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in meal preparation, catering, and serving is preferred.
