Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join the Super Smash Burgs team at our brand new Port Credit location! Culinary Students are encouraged to apply!

The ideal candidate for this position has a passion for cooking, enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience, a commitment to food safety, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Follow recipes and food preparation techniques. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area. Ensure proper food storage and rotation procedures are followed. Understand and adhere to food safety regulations. Prepare meals in a timely manner. Communicate with other kitchen staff to ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down workstations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers. Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
