We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as needed. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager. Help maintain equipment and utensils in good working condition through regular cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements

Proven experience of at least one year as a line cook in a restaurant or food service setting is required. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and cuisines. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. A passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
