. You will be part of a collaborative team providing safe and efficient flu immunizations in a community pharmacy setting.
Schedule
3-4 shifts per week
available during flu season (
mid-October through late November
).
Clinic operates:
Weekdays:
9am-6pm
Weekends:
9am-3pm
Specific shifts will be assigned based on availability and staffing needs.
Responsibilities
Administer influenza vaccinations (where licensed/authorized).
Document vaccinations accurately in
ImmsBC
.
Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
Provide patient education and support.
Pharmacy students may assist with patient intake, documentation, and workflow support.
Qualifications
Current registration and good standing with
BCCNM
(LPN, RN, or NP) or
BC College of Pharmacists
(Pharmacist).
Injection certification
required for those administering vaccines.
Pharmacy students
: must be enrolled in a recognized program and eligible to support immunization clinics.
Experience with
ImmsBC
preferred but not required (training provided).
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
