POSITION: Legal Services - Summer Student DEPARTMENT: Legal Services and Corporate Governance LOCATION: North Bay REFERENCE: 800-07-24
WHO WE ARE: Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC) is an Agency of the Province of Ontario that provides efficient and vital transportation services. We are focused on moving forward with the goal of being a valued leader in transportation. MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing, editing, and formatting Microsoft Office documents (Word, and Excel)
- File reorganization
- Review of legal contracts and compiling relevant information
- General paper file and electronic file clean up
- Other duties, as assigned
- Summer Term: May to September
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be registered for school in the Fall of 2023 and provide proof of attendance for the 2023-2024 school year
- Preference will be given to students enrolled in a law related program
- Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Must be committed to Company Health and Safety
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to use software programs, including Office 365
