Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in various office software and strong communication skills to ensure smooth operations within our legal office.

Responsibilities



Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere. Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date client records. Assist with filing and organizing documents to ensure easy access to information. Provide clerical support, including typing, proofreading, and preparing legal documents. Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document creation and management. Handle customer support inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and organized at all times. Collaborate with attorneys and staff to facilitate smooth office operations. Utilize bookkeeping skills as necessary for managing office expenses.

Qualifications



Previous office experience is required; experience in a legal or medical office is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Strong typing skills with the ability to proofread documents effectively. Experience managing multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette. Customer service experience is essential; ability to handle inquiries professionally. Previous clerical experience is preferred, including filing and administrative duties. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
