Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring all physical and electronic court filing is accomplished
Drafting affidavits of service, demand letters and additional correspondence, including other legal documents as needed
Providing documents and materials on time to meet client needs, including proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Managing scheduling, and handling expense posting to files and billings
Dealing with and responding to client inquiries, and conducting follow up as required
Performing data entry with attention to accuracy and efficiency
Core Skills & Requirements
Proficiency in file management and organization
Competency in data entry tasks with precision
Extremely efficient and adept organizational skills to manage simultaneous tasks effectively
Strong grammatical skills, including proofreading, attention to detail and accuracy are a must
Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as problem solving skills
Knowledge of ACL and GhostPractice
Understands confidentiality of client information
Experience:
Previous working experience in a Legal Assistant role or co-op internship experience is preferred (salary negotiable and commensurate with experience)

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
