Salary 60,000K DOE
Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing files.
  • Organize and maintain client files.
  • Maintain a bring forward (BF) system.
  • Calendar management: scheduling client meetings, scheduling Examinations for Discovery, and scheduling trial dates.
  • Preparing correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, etc.
  • Ordering records, and handling incoming requests.
  • Preparing Statement of Accounts.
  • Assisting with the assembly of affidavits, application records, books of authorities, and trial binders.
  • Assisting with solicitor-related files, including real estate and wills and estates.
  • Providing support to other lawyers and staff as required.
  • Communication with Clients and opposing counsel.
  • General and administrative duties as required such as photocopying/filing/binding, etc.
Requirements
  • Prior experience with personal injury
  • 3 years experience
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, work well in a team environment & communicate effectively with clients.
  • Diploma from an accredited institution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
