Overview TDS is currently seeking a Legal Assistant with Real Estate experience. This position will primarily support the efforts of the Real Estate department and related lawyers at the organization, assisting with the completion of residential real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities
Performing online tax and title searches for residential real estate
Preparing purchase and sale reports for residential real estate
Preparing of sale, purchase, and mortgage documents for residential real estate transactions
Dealing with contracts, title reviews, and mortgage payouts
Preparing bank statements of adjustments and reconciliations.
Preferred Qualifications
Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate or diploma.
Previous experience supporting lawyers in a law firm, with some exposure in Real Estate work.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Word, Outlook & Excel)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mature attitude and deadline driven.
Detail-oriented.
