Job Description

Responsibilities:

General duties: Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to answering phone calls, taking messages, and responding to emails.

Office Management: Maintain and organize office files, records, and documents.

Scheduling: Manage calendars for the office and schedule appointments.

Client Communication: Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

Filing: Assist in the preparation of court filings and submissions. Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.

Lawyer aid: Aid the Lawyer(s) in their day to day tasks.

data processing duties: Assist with data entry and data management tasks.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a secretary or in a similar administrative role is a bonus.

Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology is a bonus.

Proficiency in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) or similar software applications is mandatory.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Professional appearance and demeanour.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Bilingual in English and French is mandatory
