Legal Administrative Assistant

in our Vancouver office. This role will best fit an individual who is proactive and organized, and who possesses excellent communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Roles and Responsibilities




Organize, save and manage both physical and electronic files to ensure efficient document handling Coordinate and schedule court dates, mediations, discoveries, and other legal proceedings Draft correspondence and court documents Communicate professionally with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders as needed Handle the opening and closing of client files, ensuring proper record-keeping and compliance with procedures Prepare client invoicing and follow-up with AR Oversee lawyers' calendars, including managing deadlines, appointments, meetings, and the bring-forward system Photocopy, scan, and perform other administrative tasks as needed

Strong organizational abilities with great attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal A proven ability to efficiently manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy A client-focused mindset, insistent on providing exceptional service and support A self-starter personality with the ability to work independently as well as within a team A professional attitude with a mature and calm approach to managing tasks and overcoming challenges An ability to work well under pressure

Required & Preferred Qualifications




Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal program 3+ years' experience working in a support role within a litigation practice group Proficiency in MS Office Applications Experience in insolvency is an asset Experience in commercial litigation is an asset Experience with Elite is an asset Experience with iManage is an asset

Salary:




$55,000 - $70,000 annually

Job Details:
