BIOLOGY \xe2\x80\x93 Lecturer Position
The Irving K. Barber Faculty of Science at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus, invites applications for a limited term position in Biology, at the rank of Lecturer. This is a 12-month term position with an expected start date of August 1, 2023. The successful candidate will be a member of the Department of Biology ( .
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Biology, Medicine or a related discipline, by the time of appointment. We are particularly interested in applicants with a demonstrated ability to teach courses such as Human Anatomy & Physiology (BIOL 131, 133), Biochemistry (BIOC 304/BIOL 311), Introductory Microbiology (BIOL 228), and Clinical Neuroscience (BIOL 350). Clinical experience is an asset. While this is primarily a teaching position, lecturers are also expected to participate fully in the affairs of their departments and may fulfill service obligations to the University and community.
