Without Term Lecturer - Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science, College of Arts and Science, University of Saskatchewan invites applications from qualified individuals for two Lecturer Faculty positions (full-time, without-term) to develop and deliver introductory and advanced undergraduate Computer Science courses. Candidates will be expected to engage with faculty, instructors, students, and community partners, and to contribute administrative service to the department, college, and university. The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Computer Science or related discipline completed by the start date of the appointment. The Department of Computer Science has over 20 faculty members and more than 100 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows working in diverse areas of computer science. The College of Arts and Science offers a dynamic combination of programs in the humanities, fine arts, social sciences, and natural sciences. There are approximately 9,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the College, and 296 faculty members, including 10 Canada Research Chairs. The College emphasizes student and faculty research, interdisciplinary programs, community outreach, and international opportunities. Salary bands at the University of Saskatchewan for the 2022-2023 academic year are $83,150 to $123,458 for a Lecturer. In addition to regular salary increases, faculty may be awarded special increases for meritorious work.
