Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Residential Leasing Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for promoting and leasing residential properties to prospective tenants, managing rental applications, and providing exceptional service throughout the leasing process. Your goal is to ensure high occupancy rates and maintain positive relationships with tenants while helping them find the perfect living space.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing & Sales

Lease suites and/or renew upcoming lease expiries with specific leasing goals in mind. Engage and qualify customers over the phone or in person to gain new residents. Follow up with potential residents to ensure no lead is overlooked. Ensure the accurate completion of prospective resident applications. Complete required paperwork, including traffic reports and vacancy reports. Conduct monthly visits to competitive properties to stay informed about market conditions and complete competitor surveys.

Customer Service & Relationship Building

Provide exceptional customer service to each potential resident. Foster relationships that enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Collaborate with the team to resolve customer service requirements and achieve team objectives.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a residential leasing agent or in sales (1 year). Possess a Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel. Excellent communication skills to build relationships with potential residents and customers. Solid administrative skills with attention to detail. Strong organizational skills to manage leasing processes, customer follow-ups, and paperwork. Proactive approach to achieving personal and team objectives.
