Are you a self-starter with a passion for real estate and customer service? We're seeking a motivated and independent Leasing Agent to take the lead on a new building currently under construction.
This is a 10-month term position with the potential for extension or growth into another opportunity within the organization.
This role is accountable for ensuring they create and maintain a positive image of WestUrban Properties. Evolving our marketing and leasing strategies to maintain competitive and command strong value in our product. We have several new projects underway that will require full leasing support as well as a portfolio currently under management. The leasing department must advertise and lease units in our buildings about to achieve occupancy permit with the goal of zero vacancy on occupancy month. Conduct property showings for prospective tenants with professionalism and enthusiasm. Answering all inquiries on site with potential applicants and ensuring the ultimate customer experience.
Responsibilities
Conduct property showings for the prospective tenants with professionalism and enthusiasm
Lead all leasing activities on site for new development project
Highly organized and can work independently
Flexible work schedule and excellent time management
Respond promptly to leasing inquiries, (emails, calls, walk ins, online leads)
Promote available units across multiple platforms to maintain strong occupancy rates
Coordinate feedback on showings working with leasing team to proceed for screening, and preparing lease documentation
Collaborate with the leasing team to ensure marketing strategies are effective from the start of the rent up for each project.
Maintain accurate records of showings, leads, and leasing activity.
Maintain cleanliness of the show suite and set up for daily showings.
Schedule and conduct move-in inspections before tenant's occupancy date, working with Property Managers on current properties.
And any other duties that are required.
What you need to bring:
A self-starter who thrives with independence and accountability.
Comfortable working in a building under construction and independently.
Highly organized and proactive in generating leads and closing leases.
Exceptional administrative and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision.
The ability to multi-task and adapt based on changing situations.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
Comfortable working with technology and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Friendly and positive personality.
Strong communication and people skills - able to create a positive first impression
