About the role:

As a Leasing Agent aka Accommodation Consultant, you'll be the welcoming face and trusted advisor for future tenants -- helping them find housing that fits their needs while delivering an exceptional experience from first inquiry to signed lease.

What You'll Do:


Lead the Way in Leasing Success:


Execute sales-focused marketing campaigns to generate leads, using networking, social media, online platforms, and community outreach to expand market reach and attract qualified prospects.
Prospect and generate sales opportunities by leveraging referrals, online platforms, partnerships, and community engagement to maintain a robust pipeline of potential tenants.
Represent the brand in sales settings at promotional and sponsorship events, actively engaging with prospects and distributing materials to generate qualified leads.
Drive sales conversions by coordinating and executing promotional events, such as open houses, to create urgency and interest in available properties.


Sales & Leasing Execution


Engage and convert prospects by welcoming prospective tenants, conducting persuasive property tours, and addressing questions to highlight the unique value of each rental location and unit.
Position properties competitively in the market so that every sales interaction leaves prospects with a strong understanding of property benefits and availability, increasing the likelihood of lease commitments.
Guide tenants through the leasing process, from inquiry to move-in, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Manage leads through CRM tools, ensuring every opportunity is followed up and converted efficiently.
Be the first point of contact for prospective tenants, showcasing available properties and creating a welcoming, informative experience during our open houses.


Performance & Reporting


Achieve and exceed sales and leasing targets by working flexible hours, contributing to team efforts, and assisting colleagues as needed.
Prepare and deliver reports on leasing activities, market trends, and tenant feedback to management to support sales strategy and operational improvements.
Collaborate with the Leasing Manager to identify sales and leasing trends, address challenges, and implement process improvements.
Oversee opportunity management to track and optimize leasing prospects within the sales pipeline.
Perform detailed audits of contracts to maintain accuracy and compliance


Tenant Relations & Retention


Conduct assessments of rental units to ensure quality standards are met prior to tenant occupancy.
Handle tenant-related case management to resolve inquiries and concerns efficiently.
Report on tenant rent payments, property maintenance, and lease corrections or terminations to the Leasing Manager.
Assist with collection calls to resolve outstanding balances promptly.

What you bring Skills and Qualifications:


Post Secondary education in business / hospitality or 1-3 years work related experience.
Demonstrated experience in a sales role combined with a high degree of customer service.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Social media and marketing experience a strong asset.


Ablility to work flexible hours and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Previous student housing and rental industry preferred.
The ability to conduct building tours onsite with visitors and or potential tenants
