The Learning and Development team is looking for a Learning Specialist to join our rapidly growing department. You\xe2\x80\x99ll play a critical role in ensuring that every team member has the knowledge, skills, and tools to achieve their goals and be a successful member of the Kensington Tours team. You will be vital to the success of the business through the creation and delivery of ongoing training.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • You will spend about 50% of your time on training facilitation, and 50% on content development. Miscellaneous administrative tasks will round out the job requirements.
  • Training Facilitation:
  • Provide in-person and hybrid training to new hires (Destination Experts) in weeks 1-4 of their onboarding.
  • Deliver training to other internal/external audiences through instructor-led approaches, demonstrations and workshops in-person or online.
  • Content Development:
  • Design, build, and curate learning solutions and knowledge resources for different internal and external audiences.
  • Develop quality learning content for remote and classroom training including lesson plans, participant materials, practical exercises, engaging activities, training handouts, e-learning, and evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization, at all levels, to establish and champion a culture of learning.
  • Learning Administration:
  • Support usage of the LMS by publishing digital learning content, maintaining learning assets and user databases.
  • Maximize employee usage of the Learning Management System through content curation, revisiting LMS best practices and the configuring of the LMS for ease of navigation and employee development.
  • Maintain communications, registrations, completions, evaluations; review and report LMS activity, noting trends and providing analysis.
Qualifications

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring to the Team:
  • You have exposure to learning design frameworks and models (ex. ADDIE) or a willingness to learn.
  • Facilitation experience or relevant on-the-job experience and are comfortable facilitating learning experiences to a diverse audience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills required for communicating to all levels within the organization.
  • You have a basic understanding of LMS operations and how to manage user enrolments and courses and pull reports.
  • You have a high degree of personal accountability and excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • You can be in-office as needed for in-person training.
