Reporting to the Director, Organisational Development and working collaboratively with the Organisational Development (OD) team, the Digital Learning Specialist leads discrete components of the research, design, development, delivery and curation of required learning digital programming and other company-wide initiatives across multiple forms of media and blended learning models.

Our required learning digital suite is a fundamental component of our learning and development offering at CPP Investments. The portfolio consists of compliance and risk content as well as other behavioural and educational modules.

Role-Specific Accountabilities
  • Lead and execute digital learning development through multi-media (videos, eLearning and webcasts/webinars) as well as, blended learning (workshops, in-person learning) to maximize the learner's experience and drive engagement
  • Provide digital learning guidance and consultation, and liaison with vendors, key partners and subject matter experts to develop course specifications
  • Manage design/build documents and templates around highly engaging and interactive eLearning that meets company standards and learner needs
  • Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves problems with course design, LMS configuration and infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain digital learning vendor relationships to leverage scalable solutions
  • Build and maintain project plans, information and documents related to each required learning program
  • Identifies process efficiencies, improvements, and innovations for required learning programming, making recommendations accordingly and socializing with key stakeholders regarding reporting and completion follow-up processes.
  • Review learning data to produce insightful analysis to recommend potential learning sustainment solutions/options
  • Contribute to other Organizational Development programs or projects as assigned, ensuring quality, on-time, and on budget-completion
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree, college diploma or equivalent experience in related field (e.g., Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Learning Design, Digital Learning Media, Learning Development, Adult Learning s) is preferred; professional designation (e.g., CHRP) is a plus
  • Proven instructional design experience and digital learning development
  • Progressive experience in learning & development, project/program management and/or Organisational Development, preferably in the financial or professional services industry
  • Proven ability to partner with key stakeholder groups to implement large-scale programs/initiatives
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to take concepts and express them concisely and effectively for all levels across the organization
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to understand broader impact of issues and risks
  • Highly organized, proven attention to accuracy and detail and an ability to produce high-quality work or project manage under tight timeframes
  • Advance practical experience using a Learning Management System and Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and keen on learning new systems and applications
